We also installed couple of free add-ins from Office store to test the behaviour. It was same for those add-in as well. They all worked in appointment read form except Outlook for Mac. Is this an issue with Outlook 2016 for Mac or is it an issue with our manifest file? Regards, Pallav. Is this an issue with Outlook 2016 for Mac or is it an issue with our manifest file?
Configure Outlook for Mac to use a dedicated secure domain that uses SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing communication. This guide explains how to configure your Outlook 2016 for Mac, running on Apple OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. The domain sk-eu.tk is used throughout this guide as. Outlook too crashes but not nearly as much as Excel. The user was originally using Office 2011 for Mac and Yosemite but in troubleshooting this issue, we've upgraded her Office to Office 2016 and OSX to El Capitan. However, the crashing still happens. We've installed all available updates for Outlook and Excel available from Microsoft too.
According to your description, Outlook for Mac, which is distributed as part of Office 365, supports Outlook add-ins. Running Outlook add-ins on Outlook for Mac has the same requirements as Outlook for Mac itself: the operating system must be at least OS X v10.10 'Yosemite'. Because Outlook for Mac uses WebKit as a layout engine to render the add-in pages, there is no additional browser dependency.
So I suggest that you could check OS X desktop. For more information, click to refer about Requirements for running Office Add-ins.

Hi David, Our Add-in does work in Outlook 2016 for MAC, But It only works for Outlook Read Mode in Mail Message. The problem is, it does not work for Appointment Read mode. We ran a test on OS X v10.10 'Yosemite' as well but it did not work for Appointment read Form. I am suspecting that this is known behaviour as Outlook 2016 for MAC also does not support Compose mode app activation. I would appreciate if you could clarify if this is a known issue or something is wrong with our Manifest file. Regards, Pallav.
